receiver. Simple in design, yet powerful in capability, our
new diversity receiver provides many of the same benefits of a
diversity receiver costing thousands more. And we aren't even

A
high speed microprocessor constantly evaluates the quality of the
video signal produced by two internal receiver sections, and instantly
switches to the best signal. Special circuitry built into the
unit insures that the switch occurs during the sync pulse periods of
the video, eliminating all signs of switching noise. The
result? A transition so clean and
seamless, if it were not for the reassuring ‘chirp’ we provide, you
might never detect that it has switched at all. Simple "plug and play" operation. We know you have a lot of things to think about while preparing to fly a mission. That's why we designed our new diversity receiver to be as simple to operate as possible. Once the unit is set to the same channel as the transmitter, operation is as simple as plugging the unit in and turning it on.  The compact SMA connectors provide an excellent low-loss connection to your antennas. We offer a variety of compatible antennas to suite most peoples needs When properly deployed, the new DRV2401 can virtually eliminate video break-ups normally associated with polarization and multipath issues. In order to offer the most flexible and economical package possible, all accessories for the diversity receiver are sold separately. The base unit comes with two standard 3dbi whip antennas, a short power pigtail for integrating into your own power supply (12v car battery, 3 cell lipoly pack, etc) and a 6 foot cable with RCA plugs on both ends. The DRV2401 provides a significant improvement over single receiver reception using the standard whip antennas included. For even more dramatic results, consider the following upgrades: - Two 6dBi whip antennas: twice the gain of the basic antennas. Good for wide open areas that are not subject to a great deal of outside interference. $18 each (two required) Buy Now - Two 8dbi patch antennas: moderate gain patch antennas, wide field of view, circular polarization. Better for urban environments than standard whip antennas. $44 each (two required) Buy Now - Two 14dbi patch antennas: our highest gain solution, when maximum range is required. Linear polarized. Approximately 8 inches across. $49 each (two required) Buy Now - Duel fire 11dbi patch antenna: This is a very cool antenna, it includes two cross polarized 11dbi patch antennas in the same form factor as our 14dbi patch above. The antenna has two coax cables coming out the bottom... one for each internal antenna.
