 We now offer our popular KX131 in a cased style. The camera retains all the features that have made the KX131 bareboard model so popular, and has added a few new features that we are sure you will find appealing. Read on for the details.

 One of the primary benefits we see in this
new camera is it's very flexible voltage requirements. The
KX131 is
natively a 5v camera, but includes a compact 12v switch mode regulator
in the cable. This makes the camera a perfect choice for a
wireless
video system based around either our 12v transmitters or our 5v
transmitters. (NOTE: in
order
to operate the camera in it's native 5v mode the regulator must be
removed from the cable.) |

 The picture at left shows the
relative sizes of some of our more popular micro cameras. The
cased
KX131 is very close in size to the KX121, but has better low light
handling and higher resolution. It is about the same size as the
Sony
12V micro camera, with the same resolution, but better color saturation
and color balance. And since it can operate at either 12v or 5v,
it is
a drop in replacement for either camera. NOTE: each camera has
it's
own micro connector style and require their own cables |

The Cased KX131 is BULLETPROOF, with it's sturdy case and a lense that is integrated into the case, NOT the circuit board. This camera is designed for SURVIVABILITY.  |
